I have attempted Kim's December challenge for Orange Paperie.
Gold Silver and white.
I have tried to create my own background on white cardstock and have used lace and trims across the centre. I have stamped a honeycomb in silver and gold onto the inked background. Then embellished with gold pearls and silver gems.
With the gorgeous photo it was easy to find a title with Mary's help! Little music man. And thanks to Annette for the tiny letters to make the title coming out of the saxophone!
First layout for a couple of months from the looks of it, I need to get back to practicing. Lol. Oh well. Practice makes perfect.
Thanks for stopping by.

Finally had the chance to finish my attempt at the Orange Paperie challenge
October challenge was Black and White with a Splash of Colour.
Had the day off today to finish my layout, I started last weekend.
I was thinking of turquoise as my splash of colour however I fell into the trap of using my favourite colour, teal. I love it and feel it keeps my layout neutral rather than zingy. I want the photo to be the focus!
Here it is followed by a few close ups. I have also experimented with a new technique of watercolour around the edges of all my pattern papers, also used lots of texture plus crackle medium from Craft Queen.
